See all the rage behind the newest live streaming app that’s attracting THOUSANDS!!

Think of it like FaceTime but to a HUGE audience! Meerkat, one of the newest iOS apps, signs you into your Twitter account and allows others to see you launch a live broadcast form your iPhone or iPad! Anyone with a laptop, tablet, or even a mobile device, can see your face and follow your broadcast. It’s basically your personal live YouTube feed!

Although it was launched February 27th, the app has already been super popular! In a recent interview TIME conducted with Gary Vaynerchuk, an Internet personality and entrepreuneur, he said “Within a few minutes, 500 to 800 people are watching me live, at any given time. That is insanity, if you think about it . . .“.

It takes a little bit of time to grasp this concept so here are some of the basic rules and facts about the app:
