breakfastBreakfast’s ranking as the most important part of a person’s day was confirmed last week when a teacher was allowed to show up late 111 times because he needed some quality time with eggs, bacon, and toast.

Arnold Anderson is a 15 year veteran of the Roosevelt Elementary School in New Brunswick and was in front of a New Jersey arbitrator on Aug. 19th for being late 111 times in two years. He reason for being late, he had to eat breakfast.

Anderson was not fired for his tardiness as the court ruled he was “entitled to progressive discipline.” Anderson said, “I have a bad habit of eating breakfast in the morning, and I lost track of time…I have to cut out eating breakfast at home.” Other possible solutions include waking up earlier, eating breakfast during school, or eating breakfast faster, like this dog….
