LISTEN: Drake Drops New Song 'Summer Sixteen' and Announces 'Views From the 6' Will Be Out in April!

On Saturday’s episode of OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1, Drake premiered his brand new single called ‘Summer Sixteen’, produced by Noah ’40’ Shebib, Boi-1da, and CuBeatz!

During the episode, Drake also announced that Views From The 6 will see an April release!

In ‘Summer Sixteen’ Drake responds to Barack Obama after the President said Kendrick Lamar was a better rapper.

He raps, “To do what you couldn’t do / Tell Obama that my verses are like the whips at the end / they bulletproof.”

Drizzy also name checks Jay Z and Kanye, “I used to want to be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay.” He also raps, “Now I got a bigger pool than Ye, and, look, man, Ye’s pool is nice / Mine is just bigger that’s all I’m saying.”

The song ends with DJ Khaled proclaiming, “They don’t want us to have a bigger pool than Kanye!”
