Celebrities, Politicians React To The Death of Rob Ford

The former Mayor of Toronto lost his courageous battle with cancer today. 

Ford passed away at the age of 46 from a rare form of cancer called pleomorphic liposarcoma; it was found in his abdomen back in 2014.

Ford withdrew from re-electing after his cancer was announced. His doctor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto said his cancer was “fairly aggressive” and “difficult”.

Mayor John Tory released a statement saying,
