Could millions of dollars of profit for Batman vs Superman have saved Ben Affleck from his depressed alter ego, Sad Ben Affleck?

After Batman vs Superman was overrun by bad reviews, the world saw the birth of Sad Ben Affleck. SBA, as the cools kids call him, sat next to co-star Henry Cavill as he tried to make the argument that the bad reviews didn’t matter. SBA sat despondent, like a child remembering the end to Bambi. Watch it below:

Well as it turns out, Cavill may have had a point. The public didn’t care that everyone said Batman v Superman was a flaming pile of hot garbage. The movie raked in $166.1 million and as Jezebel reports, “This was a peak opening weekend for a DC Comics movie and the [seventh]-biggest domestic opening ever.” This is also highest launch of all time for a March movie.

Despite the millions of dollars ‘Dawn of Justice’ made this weekend, we still don’t think we’ve seen the end of Sad Be Affleck. We’ll definitely see his return every time Regular Ben thinks about his terrible back tattoo.
