A new study from New York’s Stony Brook University have found that men and women fit common gender stereotypes.

Researchers used a computer program to analyze 10 million status updates that 65,000 Facebook users agreed to.

The study found that men are more argumentative and angry online. They are more likely to use words such as: ‘freedom’, ‘liberty’, ‘win’, ‘battle’ and ‘enemy.’

Women were found to be warmer and more agreeable, using words such as: ‘wonderful’, ‘happy’, ‘birthday’, ‘daughter’, ‘baby’, ‘excited’ and ‘thankful’.
