Sugar Land Texas Has a New Selfie Sculpture

The sculpture world is taking a turn towards a more updated millennial appearance, depicting actual events that take place in our highly technological era.

Sugar Land a city in Texas has released a 10 piece sculpture collection. The most popular sculpture of the collection is the one located in Sugar Land Town Public Park; is a sculpture of two young girls taking a ‘selfie’.

This collection was donated by a Sugar Land resident to represents events that actually happen in the world.

UPI interviewed Sugar Land’s cultural arts manager Lindsay Davis who said that “people seem to be very focused on selfies, but it is part of the larger sculpture donation, so I think seeing it in the context of the full donation will probably please people.”
