Gold Medalist Penny Oleksiak Just Wants to Play Pokémon Go!

Her one wish for when she returned from Rio, was to celebrate her victory at Drake’s upcoming Summer Sixteen Tour show in Toronto this October, but like many she was let down.

However, after winning gold, we found out that she has received many offers for Drake tickets, including one from Drake himself!

“Well, I’ve been hooked up with tickets from a bunch of people, but I haven’t really accepted anything yet.”

Also, we found out that she can’t wait to get home to play Pokémon Go!

“I just want to get home, see my friends, see my dog, catch some Pokémon…I wanna catch them all!”

Oh, and where are her medals being kept in Rio? A sock of course!

“They’re back at my building…they’re in some socks, they’re safer there.”
