There are various reasons one may not want to have a hickey whether they be aesthetic or moral.. but this is just beyond.

Julio Gonzalez has passed away according to Mexican media, after he suffered a stroke due to a blood clot. The reason is believed to be from a hickey given to him earlier from his girlfriend, which caused a shortage of blood to the brain and ultimately killing him.

 

According to The Sun: 

It is thought his girlfriend gave him a hickey earlier that evening which caused a blood clot that travelled to the teen’s brain.

Paramedics were called to the scene but Julio could not be saved and died shortly after.

It is believed the suction from the love bite was the cause of the clot which travelled to his brain, triggering a stroke.

The young man’s family are blaming his 24-year-old girlfriend for his death but she has now disappeared.

 

 

Wellll.. That’s officially reason 494463 to NOT ever get a hickey.
