This is No Laughing Matter, Ronald McDonald Has Gone Into Hiding

McDonald’s released a statement this week that Ronald McDonald has been forced to keep a low profile because of the recent uptick in scary clown sightings around the world.

As CBC reports, “the fast food giant said Tuesday that it is being ‘thoughtful in respect to Ronald McDonald’s participation in community events’ as a result of the ‘current climate around clown sightings in communities.'”
