Singles in China are Renting People to Be Pretend to Be Their Partners

The newest boomin’ business in China is renting out people to pretend to be your partner when you go out to parties. As Mashable reports, there are plenty of dedicated websites and apps for renting fake partners.

Services are mainly used to thwart pesky relatives who are always bugging their children about when their going to find someone. Prices range from about $145-218 a day and both parties meet before hand to learn details about each other for casual conversation.

Some of us just prefer showing up everywhere alone and drinking to the point of not caring that we’re forever alone!
