KiSS 92.5 Team Give Their GRAMMY Predictions for ‘Best New Artist’!

The 2017 GRAMMYs will take place on February 12^th at 8ET/5PT on City, and will be hosted by The Late Late Show host James Corden.

One of the more highly contested categories is that of ‘Best New Artist’.

Looking to make a GRAMMY splash this year with a win are: Chance the Rapper, The Chainsmokers, country music superstars Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris and R&B singer Anderson .Paak.

Damnit Maurie, Jax, Devo Brown and Shem gave their predictions on who they thought would take home the award:

DAMNIT MAURIE: Pick – The Chainsmokers

“The Chainsmokers are incredible, and quite frankly I’ll vote for any good looking guy and The Chainsmokers are TWO good looking guys so they have to win!”

JAX: Pick – The Chainsmokers

“Every single song whether it was ‘Roses’ or ‘Closer’ has been humongous and chain smoking not good for you, Chainsmokers, very good records.”

DEVO BROWN: Pick – The Chainsmokers

“I’d like to see Chance the Rapper win this award he had a great year, album was awesome, but come on The Chainsmokers, you cannot deny the year that they had.”

SHEM: Pick – Chance the Rapper

“That guy is sick. He had a massive 2016… He’s just getting started… He’s just bubbling he’s only 23 years old, he’s going to have a massive year.”
