Deadmau5 Criticizes Calvin Harris' New Album Through Twitter

Looks like Deadmou5 was throwing some shade towards Calvin Harris via Twitter when he decided to slam Calvin’s work and question his album choices.

Calvin recently announced that he has a new, star-filled album coming out and well … Deadmou5 is definitely not feeling that.  Deadmou5 took to Twitter and belittled Calvin’s work.  His main argument, that Calvin’s new album isn’t so much about artist-to-artist vision but more a ‘grab for radio play’.

Features have always been Calvin’s speciality when it comes to music since he made his first radio crossover.  Features are not only a huge part of modern dance music BUT it’s just as big with hip-hop.  Although Deadmou5 has succeeded with his music without having to use many features or having pop crossovers, does he have a point? Two producers.  Two styles.  One sound.
