From the festival’s website, “The BBQ Eats Festival will feature ethnic BBQ flavours from around the world. It will be the largest free admission festival of its kind, hosted in Canada’s largest city famous for being the most culturally diverse in the world.”

It’s also a BBQ competition that will feature some of the city’s best BBQ chefs. There will also be classes for you to learn a little more about how to barbeque.

The event takes place at Ontario Place from this Friday through to Sunday.

The 9th annual Canadian Sport Film Festival (CSFF), taking place from June 9-11 at TIFF Bell Lightbox, will play host to a diverse slate of 23 feature and short-length films, documentaries, and animations that highlight the ways in which sport, recreation, and play matter in the everyday lives of people.

Opening the festival is Emmy-award winner Judd Ehrlich’s documentary, Keepers of the Game, which puts its focus on an aboriginal girls lacrosse team who, facing ambivalence in their own community, fight for a championship and to blaze a new path for the next generation of Mohawk women.

CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL 2017

This event is in its 8th year here in Toronto and will take place right in the middle of the city, at Yonge-Dundas Square.

A cool aspect of this event is Collaboration Nation, where celebrities and breweries team up to create beers for you to try; past participants include Tom Green and Sam Roberts!

The arts and entertainment festival will celebrate the one thing that Toronto is best known for: its diversity.

Toronto Raptors home game host Mark Strong will make an appearance as will musician Yuna and stand-up comedian Mo Amer.

Our Mayor, John Tory is also set to make an appearance.

It’s a free event too!
