Another beautiful weekend ahead here in Toronto which means people will be out and about in the streets and fortunately, there is a lot to do!

Here’s a look at some of the best things to do in Toronto this Father’s Day weekend!

LUMINATO

A summer tradition here in the 6ix is back once again for another year as Luminato takes over the city this weekend (through June 25th).

If you’re interested in the arts, be it, music, dance, theatre, visual art or even magic, then you’ll want to check out this art festival that showcases some of the world’s most eccentric, yet stunning visual displays but also shows off Toronto’s diversity through art.

This year’s festival will also play host to two world premieres. The first being, Bearing, which is a dance opera and King Arthur’s Night, a theatre production.

You can check out over 3,000 performances from over 10,000 artists from 40 countries across the world at various locations across the city by click HERE.

JOHN LEGEND & CARLY RAE JEPSEN ARE IN CONCERT!

This past week, John Legend moved one step closer to becoming an ‘EGOT’ recipient (that is someone that has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar & Tony award); he won the Tony award for ‘Best Revival of a Play’ (for Jitney).

On Saturday, he brings those talents to the Budweiser Stage when his Darkness and Light tour hits the 6ix on June 17th!

Welcome to Italy!!!

Well, not really, but it may feel like it this weekend if you check out Taste of Little Italy on College Street.

There will be so much delicious Italian cuisine for you to try that it makes sense this year’s theme is “go slowly”, urging people to take their time, relax and enjoy each moment.

While you recover from your food coma, you can enjoy performances from over 20 live performers.

Oh, I should probably mention that the festival is giving someone a chance to win a round trip for two to Italy!
