It’s quite possible that we could have Bachelor in Paradise to thank for an amazing hit summer song.

Let me explain.

Roz & Mocha were discussing the return to the filming of the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise when Roz used the phrase ‘Boom Boom Room’ to discuss the facilities in which the cast members, umm engage in relations let’s say.

Every time Roz said, ‘Boom Boom Room’ it made Mocha think of this song from The Vengaboys…

 

 

The boys all agreed that this summer was missing a fun, simple song just like ‘Boom Boom Boom Boom’, “nobody writes music like this anymore, they should” said Roz.

Roz continued, “like I know all these artists [Calvin Harris, Skrillex] are super cool and you got a rep and everything else but people need to vacation man!”

That’s when the boys thought about deadmau5, and wondered if he would be up for making a fun, ‘Boom Boom Boom Boom-like’ summer anthem.

“We have deadmau5’s e-mail right? E-mail deadmau5 for God’s sake” Roz lamented.

After some debate on whether deadmau5 would actually do it, the boys decided to reach out to him on social media…

 

 

Listeners then started to get involved, imploring deadmau5 to take Roz & Mocha up on their offer to write a summer jam!

 

 

They then called him (hear that starting at the 5:35 mark)

“Well, that was the worst you could do though? What about Cotton Eye Joe or something”, referring to The Vengas Boys track deadmau5 said when the boys got him on the phone.

After sharing a few laughs with the boys, deadmau5 agreed and began working on a new, summer smash.

He’s even reached out for some celebrity help…

 

 

As you can see, the work has already begun…
