HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA!!!!!
Our beautiful nation turns 150 years old this weekend, and not surprisingly there are a lot of events happening in the city to celebrate!
Here’s just a few of the things that you can take part in this weekend!
CANADA DAY WEEKEND CELEBRATIONS
Cabana Pool Bar hosts their 4th Annual Red Party this Saturday, and you can join Devo Brown and KiSS 92.5 as we celebrate our great country! Ladies are free before 3pm if you’re wearing red!
Nathan Phillips Square will have a four-day festival from Friday-Monday that will feature performances from Barenaked Ladies, DVSN, Belly, Ron Sexsmith and many more!
Mel Lastman Square will feature various hip-hop, R&B and soul performances from different young Canadian artists.
Scarborough Civic Centre will be host to rap group Deen Squad and other urban and Bollywood performances!

TORONTO RIBFEST
It wouldn’t be a weekend in Toronto without a delicious food festival and Toronto Ribfest is back for another year!
It’s hosted by the Rotary Club of Etobicoke and will take place at Centennial Park from June 30 – July 2.

REDPATH WATERFRONT FESTIVAL
A Toronto summer staple, the Redpath Waterfront Festival is back for another year down at HTO Park.
The really cool thing this year is that the World’s Largest Rubber Duck will be on hand to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.
The duck stands 61 feet tall, 79 feet wide and is 89 feet long. Oh, and it weighs over 30,000 pounds!
The festival will feature live musical acts and other entertainment.

TORONTO BLUE JAYS
The Jays will be taking the Boston Red Sox in 3-game home stance down at the Rogers Centre.
On Saturday, there will be some pregame Canada Day festivities and the Jays will honour members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Also, the first 20,000 fans who arrive at the game will receive a Red Replica Blue Jays Hat!
