Ryan Reynolds Releases Statement After Stuntwoman Dies on Set of Deadpool 2

Tragedy today on the set of Deadpool 2.

A stunt driver on a motorcycle lost control and smashed into the glass of a building during filming in Vancouver.

A stunt driver has died on the set of Deadpool during a stunt on a motorcycle. VPD & @WorkSafeBC investigators are at the scene.

Witnesses said she had been driving full-throttle, wobbled before the motorcycles jumped a curb and crashed.

The name of the stunt driver hasn’t been made public.
