Honestly, can a breakup even happen in 2018 if it doesn’t riff on a line from Drake’s Scorpion? That’s what Halsey did when she posted an Insta of herself and her beloved pup with the caption, “kiss my dog on the forehead and then kiss ur ass goodbye.” (If you haven’t got the lyrics on the album memorized yet, she’s playing with a line that the internet believes is about to breaking up with Drake’s rumoured confirmed baby’s mom: “Kiss my son on the forehead, then kiss your ass goodbye”). With this post, Halsey essentially announced that the Internet rumours were true, and she and G-Eazy, her BF of one year, were le done. Later that same day, she took to her Insta stories to make it official official, writing, “I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans,” she wrote. “G-Eazy and I are taking some apart.
