“Every year, since the beginning of the Gerber Baby Photo Search, we choose the baby who exemplifies Gerber’s longstanding heritage of recognizing that every baby is a Gerber baby, and Lucas is a perfect fit,” Kristin Wooten, a spokeswoman for Gerber, told CNN.

Picked from roughly 140,000 entries, it’s easy to see how this absolute cutie won the judges’ hearts.

Lucas’s parents will be awarded $50,000, and Lucas will be seen in Gerber advertisements and social media sites throughout 2018.

Lucas’s mom told CNN that she and her husband, “hope this opportunity sheds light on the special needs community and educates people that with acceptance and support, individuals with special needs have the potential to change the world — just like our Lucas.”
