But … why????

If you’re a fan of the Netflix hit, ’13 Reasons Why’, chances are you might have to wait a bitlonger for its third season.

Word has it – the first table read was supposed to take place this week and unfortunately, there’s a good chance production of the new season might be pushed back.  And the reason – salary negotiations!

It’s being reported that Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay Jensen, is asking for a pay raise – around $200,000 per episode and that’s in addition to whatever he’s making right now.

Other cast members like Alisha Boe (Jessica), Brandon Flynn (Justin), Devin Druid (Tyler), Ross Buttler (Zach), Christina Navarro (Tony), Miles Heizer (Alex) and Justin Prentice (Bryce) are also asking for pay raises, at least $150,000 per episode.

Deadline, who was the first to break the story explains, “Sources close to the situation surrounded optimistic that agreements would be reached in time for Season 3’s start of production, scheduled for Monday.”

So when exactly will season 3 return? Based on the timeline of when season one (March 31, 2017) and season two (May 18. 2018) were released, it would only make sense season 3 be released around the same time in 2019 however, with these negotiations still in place, we might have to wait longer than the beginning of summer.
