Ruby Rose Deletes Twitter After Being Harassed Over Her New Role!

Wow! This is not cool.

Ruby Rose had to delete her Twitter because she was being harassed over her new role!

So it was announced that she’s going to be the new Batwoman in CW’s new TV series. Which is super cool!

Like…she’s making TV history! This is the first time the series will feature the first lesbian superhero in a LEAD role! That’s huge.

She was even so excited about it saying: “The Bat is out of the bag and I am beyond thrilled and honored. I’m also an emotional wreck.. because this is a childhood dream, This is something I would have died to have seen on TV when I was a young member of the LGBT community who never felt represented on tv and felt alone and different. Thank you everyone. Thank you god.”

And now…people are savages and trying to take that away from her.

Before deleting twitter, she wrote: Where on earth did ‘Ruby is not a lesbian therefore she can’t be Batwoman’ come from — has to be the funniest most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read. I came out at 12? And have for the past 5 years had to deal with ‘she’s too gay’ how do y’all flip it like that? I didn’t change.”

She deleted her account shortly after that…

Let’s be real – she’s perfect for the role and she’s going to own it. So over the hate. You do you girl, show the haters how it’s done.
