'One Tree Hill' Might Be Getting A Revival In Time for Christmas!

Talk about an OMG moment!

A ‘One Tree Hill’ reboot may never happen but I’ll take a Christmas revival any day!

Some of the cast members from your favourite show ‘One Tree Hill’ have been spotted around social media, posting pictures that lead to a ‘new project’ that’ll make its way around Christmas time.  Here’s the thing – since word got out, they deleted the pictures *inserts unhappy face* but that’s what ‘screenshot’ is for!  AND, the cast members all used the same hashtag #Christmas2018.

Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer), Danneel Ackles (Rachel Gatina), Robert Buckley (Clay Evans) and Antwon Tanner (Skills) all posted photos on the Gram hinting that something is definitely on the way.  According to Deadline, “Members of the CW series have teamed up for what sounds like the most nostalgia-producing Christmas movie of our generation.”  Rumour has it that the upcoming Lifetime movie is called The Christmas Contract and it’ll also feature Tyler Hilton who played musician Chris Keller AND he’s also set to perform in the movie.

Here’s the plot (as per Deadline), “It will star former Peyton Sawyer Burton as a recently-dumped Louisiana resident returning home for the holidays.  In order to avoid any awkward encounters with her ex (Hunter Burke), she hires her BFF’s brother (Robert Buckley) to be her boyfriend stand-in.”  And in case you were wondering, yes, Robert played Clay in the later seasons of OTH.  It’s totally clear that they fall in love but going back to the title, they create a ‘Christmas contract’ to make sure things work out smoothly.

And to think … we might see Chad’s beautiful face once again *fingers crossed*.
