He was once the worlds favourite TV dad, but on Tuesday Bill Cosby was sent away to prison in handcuffs in what can only be described as a surreal image after a judge sentenced him to three to ten years behind bars for the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand.

In his ruling, Montgomery County Judge Steven  O’Neill said, “It is time for justice. Mr. Cosby, this has all circled back to you. The time has come.”

His publicist Andrew Wyatt said the court treated Cosby as badly as the Romans treated Jesus.

 

 

That time will see Cosby, who is 81 years old, likely spend the rest of his days behind bars.

Cosby was publicly accused of sexual assault by over 60 women, many of whom were at the New York courthouse to support Constand and one another.

One of those women was Lili Bernard, who called in to the Roz and Mocha show and spoke about how she felt about Cosby’s sentencing. Saying It’s surreal! I never thought this day would happen”
