What Will Meghan and Harry Name Their Baby? The Predictions Are Here!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child together (SO EXCITING!), she’s around 12 weeks pregnant and speculation has already begun!

Are they going to have a boy or girl? What are they going to name their first child??

Well, the Royal Bookies are already on top of it and placing bets. According to royal reporter, Richard Palmer, so far the name options are pretty traditional: Alice, Arthur, Philip, Victoria…and of course Diana.

But a name that’s definitely NOT going to happen? Samantha. Which is the name of Meghan’s estranged sister.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes make Samantha a 100-1 outside bet for the royal baby name. Most bookies make traditional royal names eg Alice, Arthur, Philip, Victoria – and, of course, Diana – their early favourites.

Roz & Mocha spoke with royal insider Omid Scobie about what the possible baby name will be. Omid says Meghan and Harry like to keep names private. Reminding us that they just adopted a dog and still have not said what the name is.

Chances are, it’s more than likely going to be a traditional name since the child will be seventh in line to the throne, but you never know! Maybe Meghan will pay tribute to her own family with their name choice!

They celebrated the news in the best way, they’re on a royal tour together for the first time! So they’re in Australia, New Zealand, Figi, and the Kingdom of Tonga. Now that’s one way to celebrate the exciting news!
