Halsey released her new single “Nightmare” earlier this month and one fan got caught speeding while driving to it.

The fan tweeted,

“Driving home from Penn State I got pulled over/given a ticket for the first time ever and when asked why I was going 99 in a 70 I was ~dangerously~ close to admitting I was bangin out to @halsey’s new song Nightmare”

When Halsey caught wind of the incident she offered to pay her speeding ticket saying,

“What’s your Venmo. I’ll pay your ticket. DRIVE SAFELY PLEASE!!!!”

Francesca, the fan, said she hadn’t yet received the ticket in the mail yet, so she wasn’t sure how high it would be. However, it says online that speeding tickets (in Pennsylvania) at that speed typically range between $52.50 – $102.50.

Either way, I’m sure Halsey can afford it; but how cool is she for doing this?!
