Ariana Grande Postpones Florida Shows Because of Allergic Reaction: "Nothing More Unfair Than An Italian Developing An Allergy to Tomatoes!"

As an Italian woman, I could totally see why this allergic reaction is a HUGE disappointment.

Ariana Grande, who is currently on tour had to cancel some shows down in Florida after she suffered an allergic reaction to …. TOMATOES!  At first, Ariana assumed she was just sick.  She wrote on Instagram, “Tampa and Orlando, I woke up incredibly sick today.  Ran to my doctor here and have been told to postpone these shows tonight and tomorrow.  I’m so beyond devastated.”

(1) Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour dates tonight in Tampa (Amalie Arena) and tomorrow, May 29 in Orlando (Amway Center) have been postponed due to illness.
The new show dates will be 11/24 in Tampa & 11/25 in Orlando. Ariana is sorry to disappoint her fans and will look fwd pic.twitter.com/InrCos4KN6

Following her announcement, Ariana then confessed it was actually an allergic reaction, “Update: we discovered ….. that ….. I had an unfortunate allergic reaction to tomatoes and my throat pretty much closed.  Still feels like I’m swallowing a cactus but slowly making progress! Thank you all for your love and understanding.  Can’t wait to get back to performing and to make it up to Tampa and Orlando in November.   P.S. there is NOTHING MORE UNFAIR THAN AN ITALIAN WOMAN DEVELOPING AN ALLERGY TO TOMATOES IN HER MID TWENTIES…….”
