Ariana Grande Breaks Down During Pittsburgh Tour Stop

My heart right now!

Ariana Grande brought her Sweetener World Tour to Paints Arena in Pittsburgh last night and as she was singing the beginning of Thank U, Next, she broke down in tears.  Why? Pittsburgh is the hometown of her late, ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller.  Ariana began singing, “Wish I could say thank you to Malcom, ’cause he was an angel” unfortunately, she couldn’t finish the line.

One fan on Twitter posted video footage of Ari performing ‘Thank U, Next’ and writes, “Pittsburgh loves you so so much.  Super grateful I was able to be here for this moment.  Mac is always with us and shining over you every night.”

Following the performance of Thank U, Next, Ariana then sang a song called ‘Raindrops (An Angel Cried)’ which fans assume is also for Mac.  This was another emotional performance for Ariana – when she couldn’t belt the words out any longer, fans began to yell, “You can do it, Ari!”  Watch below.
