Beyoncé has released ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ movie soundtrack for the latest Disney remake.  The soundtrack features 14 brand new tracks from Queen Bey and includes amazing features from Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Pharrell, Wiz Kid and many others.

 

The soundtrack also includes Beyoncé’s previously released single, Spirit.

 

 

 

 

According to Billboard, “The highly anticipated The Lion King: The Gift was produced and curated by Beyoncé.”  And check this out – Beyoncé has a song with 7-year old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.  It’s called Brown Skin Girl and it’s Blue’s official signing debut.  Check it out below.

 

 

 

During Beyoncé’s interview with Robin Roberts from Good Morning America, she says, “This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa and I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it.  I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa.”  The album will also include the sounds of drums and chants and according to Bey, “The album will be mixed with incredible new sounds mixed with some of the producers from America…each song tells the story of the film.”  You can watch the interview below.
