Following her split from husband Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus released a brand new song called, Slide Away.

Based on the lyrics, Slide Away is telling Miley and Liam’s story – two people trying to hold onto their relationship, followed by a painful breakup.  The image Miley used for the video on YouTube includes two pill bottles and multiple pills floating around in a pool plus, two bottle’s of whiskey

You know this is about Miley and Liam because in the song’s outro, Miley sings, “Move on, we’re not 17.”  And rumour is, Slide Away will appear on Miley’s upcoming album, She Is Here.

According to a source, they told Entertainment Tonight, “They both knew [the split] was coming.  Miley was asking for a break and wanted to soul search and came to the realization she was unhappy.  Miley’s parents have been supportive. They just want her to be happy.  Liam loves Miley and is crushed by all of this. But right now Miley doesn’t want to answer to anyone.  She still feels the need to explore herself, her sexuality and her music. Miley has been working in the studio and wants to blow off steam.”
