It’s been a little over two years but Dua Lipa is finally BACK! Over the past few days, Dua has shared snippets from a new song she’s about to release next week called Don’t Start Now.

According to a news release, Dua explains, “I chose to put this song out first so I could close one chapter of my life and start another.  Into a new era with a new sound! It’s about moving on and not allowing anyone to get in the way of that. It also felt like a natural first song choice as I made it with the brilliant same crew I made ‘New Rules’ with.”

 

Earlier in the year, Dua told NME, “My next creation will be pop with more diverse sounds.  I’m trying not to stray too far away from my sound which I have described as ‘dance crying’ for a while.”
