He was working on this album before he died.

Mac’s mom explains this album is a companion to Swimming:

“Two different styles complementing each other, completing a circle—Swimming in Circles was the concept.”

The song “Good News” has been released as a single and a video tribute to Mac has been done with clips from the studio showing Mac in his element:

 

 

Mac Miller died September 7, 2018, of an accidental drug overdose.

He was only 26.
