Selena Gomez Reveals New Tattoo & Drops Pop-Up Video for 'Look At Her Now'

To celebrate the release of her new album, Selena Gomez got some fresh ink on her neck – the word ‘Rare’ which is the title of her new studio album.

The tattoo was done by New York tattoo artist Bang Bang, who has previously worked with other artists like Rihanna, Adele and many more.  ‘Rare’ is written right below Selena’s left ear and below is a video she posted to her Instagram page.

When chatting with Spotify earlier in the week, Selena shared, “That name [Rare] was so important to me, the moment I heard it I said that’s the name of my album.  That to me is such a special word and if there’s anything I could do for women and even men it would be to tell them that, that they are valued and that they’re rare and that they’re important; that’s what it means to me.”

In addition to her new tattoo, Selena also released a pop up version of her ‘Look At Her Now’ music video (watch above).  In terms of what inspired the music video, Selena says, “It’s something reminiscent of the golden age of early 2000s pop and R&B.”
