Chance The Rapper Shares Video of Lizzo Interviewing Him in 2012

Here’s a cool moment that Chance The Rapper dug up for a little IG #TBT! He just shared a video of a developing-music journalist interviewing him back in 2012 for a magazine called “GreenRoom”. The journalist’s name was Melissa Jefferson, now known as Lizzo.

The short clip shows Lizzo asking Chance about some of the styles and artists he’s worked with. He captioned it saying, “It was 2012, a year before Acid Rap even dropped, and I was being interviewed for a small magazine in Minneapolis called GreenRoom, right after a small show I was playing. I remember it like it was yesterday and it was EIGHT years ago.”

Just think how cool the news would be if Lizzo was the journalist behind some of these stories!
