Artists from all across the world came together on Saturday (April 18) to pay tribute to healthcare workers during the historic ‘One World: Together at Home’ eventThe two-hour TV special was organized by the World Health Organization and Global Citizen, with artist appearances curated in partnership with Lady Gaga.

Gaga opened the broadcast with a stunning rendition of Nat King Cole’s ‘Smile’.

The event, which included performances from Lizzo, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello and many others, helped raise ‘$50 million to combat the Coronavirus pandemic.’  Gaga says, “I care so much about the medical workers that are putting their lives at risk for us.”

Not only did Gaga take on a classic from Nat King Cole, but she also closed the broadcast performing alongside Celine Dion, John Legend, Lang Lang and Andrea Bocelli, who all beautifully sang ‘The Prayer.’
