Gigi Hadid Confirms Pregnancy: "We Wish We Could Have Announced It On Our Own Terms!"

Congratulations goes out to both Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik – the rumours are TRUE! They ARE expecting their first child together!  While on The Tonight Show: Home Edition, Gigi confirmed she and Zayn are expecting, “Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms.  We’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.”

Jimmy, who’s a father himself, offered some thoughtful advice to the new mom-to-be, “It’s the best news that you could ever have in the entire world, even in this crazy world where any news is kind of good news.  Your news was great news and I will tell you this – tons of people will you give you advice and stuff like that, and they’re like, ‘Oh, they grow up so fast.  Enjoy it.’  And I don’t want to be that person because they are kind of right.  But don’t over do it, but just be present for every part of it.”  Gigi’s response, “Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be home and be together, and really experience it day-by-day.”

Gigi’s pregnancy announcement comes days after her 25th birthday and one day after her mom, Yolanda Hadid, confirmed the news to Dutch Publication, RTL Boulevard, “Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press.  Of course we are so excited.  I am excited to become Oma in September especially after I lose my mom so recently.  But this is the beauty of life; one soul leaves us and a new one comes in.  We feel very blessed.”
