Drake Shares Photos from Son Adonis' 3rd Birthday

Drake is celebrating his son, Adonis’ third birthday with some adorable Instagram photos.

Drake and Adonis are all smiles while they pose in front of black-and-white decorations.  Drake captions the photo, “Young Stunna.”

Sophie Brussaux, who shares Adonis with Drake, was also present.

Sophie also paid tribute to Adonis with a special Instagram post, “Joyeux anniversaire mon amoureux! 3 years ago, I was finally meeting you for the first time, after a long 24-hr labour.  I’m so proud of the little man you’re becoming, I love you more than life. The world is YOURS! We did that @champagnepapi,” she writes.

Adonis was born in 2017 however, Drake didn’t go public about his son until a year later.  In May of 2018, Pusha T released ‘The Story of Adidon,’ a diss track which included the lyric, “Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother | Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her | A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap | We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts | You are hiding a child, let that boy come home | Adonis is your son.”  The following June, Drake confirmed the news on his Scorpion album.

While on Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio, Drake revealed why he decided to share photos of his son when he did, “I posted those pictures [and] it was great for me.  It was great to just share that with the world and I just felt like… it wasn’t even anything I talked to anybody about or anything I planned. I just woke up one morning and I was like, ‘You know what? This is just something that I want to do.  I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son.  I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket. So, I just wanted to free myself of that.”
