Two Canadians Named Among The Top 5 Highest-Paid TikTokers

Last week, Forbes released a list of the highest-paid TikTokers of 2021, and two Canadians made it into the top five.

According to Forbes, “The highest-paid TikTok stars collectively earned $55.5 million in 2021, up 200% from the last time we counted up their paychecks, in 2020. And while they’ve focused their attention away from TikTok, they still earn much of their money–typically 30% to 50%–from sponsored content, where a corporation pays for a post advertising their goods on a star’s social media account.”

1. Charli D’Amelio: $17.5 million

5. Kris Collins (Vancouver) & Avanni Gregg (tie): $4.75 million

Josh, who is a Toronto-born influencer, racked up an estimated $5 million in 2021, and currently has 25.6 million TikTok followers. He is also the highest-paid Canadian on the platform, and is tied for fourth place overall.

And hailing from Vancouver, Kris Collins, who currently has 42.2 million followers, and earned $4.75 million last year.
