Dad's Cookies Have Been Discontinued. Let's Cry Together

Real tears are on the page of this blog. If you’ve been searching for Dad’s Chocolate Chip cookies for the last few months, it’s time to stop looking. Mondelez International has told CBC News that the cookies have officially been discontinued.

US-Based Mondelez, stopped production of the cookies late last year and have left the stock remaining in stores quietly disappear. As the CBC reports, “It dropped the plain chocolate chip cookie due to poor sales. ‘Nobody wants to see a brand go, but sometimes we have to make decisions,’ says Stephanie Cass, corporate affairs spokeswoman for Mondelez Canada.”

Other Dad’s varieties, like oatmeal and raisin (ugh), are still available. But NOTHING will ever replace our beloved chocolate chip. #RIP
