An Airline is Allowing You to Pay to Sit Alone

Etihad Airways is now letting travellers rent out an ENTIRE row on their airplanes (sorry what?!?!?).

For only a few extra bucks you can sit in a ‘Neighbour – Free Seat.’

Their website says, “passengers can make a bid during their regular ticket purchase process. Though the extra space is not guaranteed, passengers will be notified if their bid is accepted with a confirmation message 32 hours before the flight. Passengers have the option of canceling or modifying bids before receiving a status notification email should they decide they don’t want to shell out any more cash.” 

Soon enough everyone will have their own private jets and those of us remaining can have rows upon rows on  commercial planes to ourselves. Now a #NeighbourFreeZone is something I can get on BOARD with (see what I did there).
