WATCH: Unknown Man Plays John Lennon Classic At Paris Memorial

Over 100 people died and scores more injured after a series of coordinated attacks left Paris and the rest of the world in mourning.

Saturday morning, a pianist played John Lennon’s classic song ‘Imagine’ outside the Bataclan concert hall, where over 100 people were killed.

Reaction has come from all over the world with people devastated by the attacks in Paris yesterday.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau offered “all of Canada’s support” and said in a statement, “Our hearts and thoughts and prayers go out to our French cousins in this dark and terrible time…..“We have offered all of our help and support to the government of France.”

Last night, the ‘Toronto’ sign in Nathan Phillips Square was lit up in the colours of the French flag, and the CN tower donned similar colours.

A silent vigil was held outside Nathan Phillips Square this afternoon with our Mayor John Tory in attendance.
