After announcing that a social media break was necessary, Ariana Grande returned to Instagram to share some sneak peak pictures from her upcoming BBC special which will air on November 1st.  The special will be one hour and it’ll include an interview and live performances from songs off of her latest album, Sweetener.

According to MTVUK, “Following the footsteps of British icons Adele and Harry Styles, the prestigious show cements her position as an honorary Brit and will be the first official piece of televised Sweetener promo she has done on this side of the pond.  The special – filmed back in September – will see Ariana perform several songs with an-female orchestra and chat at length with the one and only Davina McCall.  It will be her first major interview in the UK since the devastating events that occurred at her Manchester concert last May so is expected to be an emotional return, as she commented that being back in September made her ‘anxious.'”

Ariana captioned her latest Instagram post, “UK babes, I’m excited that my BBC special we shot in London will be airing on Nov 1 at 8pm on BBC One.  Thank you to my band, my MD, our background singers, incredible conductor Steve Sidwell and this stunning orchestra (all girls, werk) I had the honour of performing with.  I loved these arrangements so much, thank you to my babes in the audience who made this such a fun, comfortable experience.  Miss you.”

Prior to this announcement, Ariana Grande took part in performing ‘The Wizard and I” in NBC’s Halloween special for A Very Wicked Halloween to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary.

Before heading on stage, Ariana posted a message on her Insta Story, “Can’t believe I almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today.  No today, Satan!  Not tomorrow or the next day either not no more you can suck my big green d—.” well, okay!  Ariana continued, “Finna sing my heart out and be a big walking vessel of love bye.”

Ariana then posted a picture with Idina Menzel, who played the original Elphaba in Wicked the Musical, both on Broadway and West End.  Ariana captioned the photo, “If y’all told me about any of this fifteen years ago…bye.”
