Katy Perry let the entire world know the feud between her and Taylor Swift is finally over and they’re back to being friends! Katy shared this super-yummy photo on her Instagram page – a plate filled with chocolate chip cookies.  On the rim of the plate, it reads, “Peace at last.”  Katy also wrote in the caption, “Feels good” with an orange-heart emoji and she tagged Taylor!

So what exactly happened between Tay and Kay? Well, Taylor had hired some of Katy’s backup dancers for a tour she was on and then halfway through that tour, the dancers claimed they wanted to leave to go back to Katy (such a mess).  In 2014, Taylor explained to Rolling Stone her song ‘Bad Blood’ was about another female however, she never named names but it was so obvious she was referring to Katy.

 

 

 

Taylor said, “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.  She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.  And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict.  So now I have to avoid her.  It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

 

However, when Katy appeared on Carpool Karaoke, she explained her side of the story to James Corden.  Katy said she gave her dancers her blessing to join Taylor if they wanted however, she advised them to have something written in their contracts so they wouldn’t have issues rejoining Katy later in the year on her tour – that’s if they wanted to leave.  Things went left and according to Katy, Taylor refused to talk to her, “It was a full shutdown, and then she writes a song about me, and I’m like, ‘Ok, cool, cool, cool, that’s how you want to deal with it?’ Karma!.”  Katy continued, “I’m ready for that B.S. to be done.”
