This past weekend and through a series of tweets, Lil Nas X instructed his fans to listen closely to the lyrics on ‘C7osure (You Like),’ one of the tracks on his debut EP, ‘7.’

In one of his tweets, which was accompanied with a video, Nas writes, “Some of y’all already know, some of ya’ll don’t care, some of y’all not gone FWM no more.  But before this month ends, I want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.”  ‘This month’ meaning ‘Pride Month’ and at the end of his caption, he adds a rainbow Emoji.

Even though Lil Nas X didn’t directly address his sexuality, the lyrics to ‘C7osure’ mention coming clean, embracing yourself and of course, growing up.  Some of the lyrics read:

“Ain’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow.
No more red light for me, baby, only green, I gotta go.
Pack my past up in the back, oh, let my future take a hold.
This is what I gotta do, can’t be regretting when I’m old.
Brand new places I’ll choose and I’ll go, I know.
Embracing this news I behold unfolding.
I know, I know, I know it don’t feel like it’s time.
But I look back at this moment, I’ll see that I’m fine.
I know, I know, I know it don’t feel like it’s time.
I set boundaries for myself, it’s time to cross the line.”

And if that wasn’t enough of a clue, Nas later posted a photo of the cover art from his new EP.  Nas is staring towards a city skyline and if you zoom in real close, you can see one of the buildings is lit in rainbow colours.  Nas tweeted, “Deada** I thought I made it obvious.”

And already, celebs are showing their love and support towards Nas online.  Producer Boi-1da tweeted,  “Go krazy lil bro we love you.”
