The rumours surrounding Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello dating have been on-and-off for some time now.  However, it was this summer Shawn and Camila made it “Instagram official’ when photos began surfacing in and around social media of the two smooching and holding hands.

So when exactly did Shawn and Camila began dating? In a recent fan Q&A, Shawn was asked, “I know there have been rumours of you and Camila being together for a while, but how long have you actually been dating for?” Shawn responded with, “We haven’t been dating for that long.  We have been since July 4th officially.”  Watch the video below.

 

 

 

And during that same fan Q&A, a fan asked, “What’s a song that comes on and you’re like, ‘Yup, this is mine and Camila’s song?'” Shawn replied with, “We have a playlist.  I wanna tell you, so badly I wanna tell you, but I feel like I have to keep it between us, if that’s okay?”  Although they have been friends for years, they finally managed to find a way to one another – even if that means Camila following Shawn on tour! And no, in case you were wondering – they did NOT break up!
