In a statement made by Billie, she says, “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way.  To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour.”

Billie Eilish is the youngest artist in history to write AND record a theme song for the legendary James Bond series.  ‘No Time to Do’ was produced by Billie,  her brother Finneas and Stephen Lipson.  The films director, Cary Joji Fukunaga shares, “Their [Billie and Finneas] creative integrity and talent are second to none and I cannot wait for audiences to hear what they’ve brought – a fresh new perspective whose vocals will echo for generations to come.”

As Variety notes, “Stylistically it has some strong similarities with the Adele and Smith songs of late, with a soft keyboard intro eventually giving way to strings and brass. But Eilish extends the stillness far longer than they did; it’s just a little past halfway into a four-minute track that the hint of a beat kicks in, and even then, the percussion disappears again for a hushed coda. You might almost be thinking this is going to be a sort of reprise of Eilish’s quietest songs, “When the Party’s Over” or “I Love You,” before the orchestration and timpani fire up at the end of the first chorus, and you remember, “That’s right, Hans Zimmer did assist with this.”

‘No Time to Die,’ will hit theatres on April 10 and it’s the 25th Bond film within the movie’s franchise.
