It’s been announced that Taylor Swift will be releasing a concert special, City of Lover, later this month!

Taylor announced the news on Good Morning America, “Hope everybody is happy and healthy and staying safe. So I played this concert in September called ‘The City of Lover’ show and it was in Paris. It was so much fun. It was actually a show we put together just to celebrate the Lover album coming out and we filmed it. That is going to be airing on ABC on May 17th and the next day, it’ll be on Hulu and Disney+. I am really excited about it. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Taylor had to cancel her Lover Fest Tour and well, she’s now bringing the concert to us.  The City of Lover concert was originally filmed at the L’Olympia Theatre in Paris last September and now, we can watch it from the comfort of our homes.  Back in February, Taylor released video footage of her performing The Man live in Paris.

Eric Avram, who’s vice president, Talent and Booking at ABC Entertainment said in a statement, “The musical event gives fans unprecedented access to behind-the-scenes moments with the artist and marks her only concert performance this year, after her Lover Fest tour was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We can’t wait to take viewers on a musical journey from the City of Love. While we are all home, Taylor Swift and her family of fans will be able to have a moment together and experience a never-before-seen, intimate performance, and we are so thrilled to be able to offer this to our own family of viewers on ABC.
