Selena Gomez gave the fans a sneak peak from her upcoming HBO Max cooking show, Selena + Chef.

The HBO show was originally announced in May and was somewhat inspired by Selena’s quarantine cooking experiments,’ “I’ve always bee very vocal about my love of food.  I think I’ve been asked hundreds of times in interviews if I had another career, what would I do, and I’ve answered that it would be fun to be a chef. I definitely don’t have the formal training, though! Like many of us while being home, I find myself cooking more and experimenting in the kitchen.”

Selena + Chef will be a 10-episode series and Selena will cook with four different master chefs.  HBO Max’s head of original content, Sarah Aubrey, said in a press release, “Blending [Selena’s] determination with top-tier culinary artists is sure to entertain and educate viewers about something we’re all trying to work through: how to make cooking at home exciting, fun, and delicious.”

As of right now, there’s no official release date for the new HBO series, however there is a release date for Selena’s Rare Beauty launch, and that’s Sept. 3!

Back in February, Selena announced the news of Rare Beauty in a video to promote the new makeup brand.  Selena shared an important message with her fans, “Being rare is about being comfortable with yourself. I’ve stopped trying to be perfect. I just want to be me.  I think Rare Beauty can be more than a name brand. I want us all to stop comparing ourselves to each other and just start embracing our own uniqueness. You’re not defined by a photo, a like, or a comment. Rare Beauty isn’t about how other people see you; it’s about how you see yourself.”
