The author of Paper Towns came to Cara’s defence after Good Day Sacramento disrespected the modelling goddess.

Everyone’s favourite supermodel/ socialite/ actress/ celebrity/ person, Cara Delevingne, was recently subjected to an absolutely terrible interview on “Good Day Sacremento.”  The interview is so bad and so rude that you have to watch it to really understand:

It seems as though the interviewers were trying to be rude to her…. and were enjoying it. Asking questions like “Have you read the book?” to the woman playing the lead role in the book’s movie adaptation is not only insulting but makes everyone at Good Day Sacramento look like an idiot.

John Green, the author of Paper Towns, came to Cara’s defence with a well spoken blog post:

I am friends with Cara […] I spent more than a month with her on tour in Europe and the US and I watched as again and again, she was asked this question. Cara has read the book (multiple times) but the question is annoying – not least because her male costar, Nat Wolf, was almost always asked when he’d read the book, while Cara was almost always asked if she’d read it…

Cara, however, refuses to stick to the script. She refuses to indulge lazy questions and refuses to turn herself into an automaton to get through long days of junketry. I don’t find that behavior entitled or haughty. I find it admirable. Cara Delevingne doesn’t exist to feed your narrative or your news feed?—?and that’s precisely why she’s so f****ng interesting.

Luckily, Cara is Superwoman, and she handled the whole ordeal perfectly. Keep doing you Cara!!!
