Someone's Been Stealing Mannequins in Belleville

Belleville police say that someone has broken into 3 downtown boutiques and stolen 11 female mannequins in the last 3 months.

One of the shop owners said the thief ripped off a $160 dress, threw it on the ground and walked away with the mannequin. Unfortunately, some of the owner’s cheaper merchandise that was on the mannequin’s wasn’t spared.

The weirdest part is apparently there was no attempt at stealing actual money or clothes from the store.

Looks like someone might have a fetish.

Here’s to hoping these mannequins get returned soon and that no mannequins were harmed during these robberies.
